1/2 days available for $375. You may also rent in advance. You don't have to wait until morning to call us.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes.
It is required for both fishing and clamming. It can be purchased at
Teach’s Lair Marina and Village Marina both located right in Hatteras
Village.

Hatteras Fire Department rents numerous types of equipment.
I have never operated a boat before. Can I get help?
A
guide will stay with you and practice operating techniques on the water
until you feel comfortable and are knowledgeable enough to operate the
boat alone in safety. This tutorial is mandatory to rent the boat in NC.
Can children come on the boat with me?
Yes.
All ages are permitted on the skiffs. Appropriate life jackets must be
worn at all times by children under 13 and are included with your
rental.
How old do I have to be to rent a boat?
A
person born on or after January 1, 1988 who is unaccompanied may operate a
vessel with a motor of 10 horsepower or greater on North Carolina
waters only if he or she completes and passes a boating safety course
that is approved by NASBLA and accepted by the Wildlife Resources
Commission. We do require operators to be at least 18
years of age and have a valid (not debit) credit card and license.
